Power-saving tips:
o EQ settings — With EQ settings OFF, the battery will last longer.
o Contrast — Turn down the contrast as low as possible.
o Backlight — Don't set the backlight for the display to be always on. Try turning it off completely, or
setting it to two seconds.
o Volume — Higher volumes draw more power. The rating for your player was determined using a
volume of 15.
o Bitrate — Higher bitrates draw more power than lower ones. Try ripping at 128 kbps.
o Audio format — WMAs use more processing power than MP3s.
o Standard headphones — High-powered headphones use more power. Test the battery life with the
standard ear buds or headphones that are included with your player.
