FIELD OPERATION

Please remember it is important that you
read and heed the safety signs on the
Blower. Clean or replace all safety signs if
they cannot be clearly read and understood.
If a safety shield or guard is removed for
any reason, it must be replaced before the
machine is again operated.
Always use two people to handle heavy, un-
wieldy components during assembly, installa-
tion, removal or moving.
Always engage the park brake when stop-
ping engine to prevent machine move-
ment when restarting engine.
Place all controls in neutral, stop engine,
set park brake, remove ignition key and wait
for all moving parts to stop before servicing,
adjusting, repairing or unplugging.
Do not allow riders on the machine at any
time. There is no safe place for any riders.
Although the Self-Propelled
Blower is easy to use, each
operator should review this
section to familiarize him-
self with the detailed safety
and operating procedures.
When using the machine,
follow this procedure:
1. Clear the area of
bystanders, especially
small children.
2. Review and follow the
Pre-Operation Check-
list (see Section 5.4).
3. Transport to the work-
ing area (refer to Sec-
tion 5.7).
