The USB 3.0 has a maximum data transfer rate up to 5 Gbps and offers a backwards compatible with previous USB 2.0 specifications. Each USB 3.0 ports are using the USB Type-A receptacle connector.

When connecting the SATA power cable to SATA II power connector, make sure that the power plug is inserted in the proper orientation and pins are properly aligned.

    2.2.12. Digital I/O Pin Header The EITX-3002 mainboard provide 8-bit Digital I/O (GPIO) through the DIO pin header labeled as “DIO1”. The 8 digital inputs and outputs can be programmed to read or control devices, with input or output defined. The DIO1 pin header supports up to four GPO and four GPI signals.

    2.2.14. LPT Pin Header The EITX-3002 mainboard support an LPT (Line Print Terminal) pin header labeled as “LPT1”. The LPT1 pin header is for connecting the 26-pin adapter flat-cable of the parallel port. The parallel port is used to connect the mainboard to a printer.

The ATX mode requires a standby power connection and a power supply on signal to turn on the main power supply while the AT mode does not require a standby power connection but needs to be connected to ground to boot up properly.
