Talkgroup Calls

Using Predefined Talkgroups
A Talkgroup is a predetermined group that has
been provisioned by Nextel or an account
administrator. Talkgroups are limited by network
(fleet) and local markets. They can accomodate
groups up to 100 members in the local market.
Before you can make or receive Talkgroup calls, a
Talkgroup must be established. After the Talkgroup
is established, you must join the Talkgroup.
Joining a Talkgroup
When you enable security, you receive a list of
Talkgroups that have been set up for you if you
subscribe to this service. The Talkgroup list is
saved to Contacts.
