Setting up the phone for a service

Your phone may have stored some service settings. Additional settings may be
received as a configuration message from the network operator or service provider
that offers the service that you want to use.
To receive the service settings as a configuration message, see
settings service
on page
For more information and for the appropriate settings, contact the network
operator or service provider that offers the service that you want to use.

Making a connection to a service

1. Make sure that the service settings of the service you want to use are
activated. To activate the settings:
Press Menu, and select Services,
Configuration
and select the configuration set you want to activate.
2. Make a connection to the service. There are several ways to connect:
• Open the start page, for example, the homepage of the service provider:
Press Menu, and select
hold
.
• Select a bookmark of the service:
Press Menu, and select Services, Bookmarks, and select a bookmark.
If the bookmark does not work with the current active service settings,
activate another set of service settings and try again.
