• Press 0 in a text entry view to change
text case to all capital letters L, no
capitals í, or next letter capital ì.
• To enter numbers quickly, press and hold a
number key to temporarily switch to
numeric mode. Press the number keys to
enter the numbers you want. Enter a
space to change back to iTAP or Tap mode.
• Press 1 to enter punctuation or other
characters.
• Press S to move the flashing cursor to
enter or edit message text.
• To cancel your message, press P .

numeric mode

In a text entry screen, press # to switch
entry methods until the 12 (numeric) indicator
displays.
Press keypad keys to enter the numbers you
want. When you finish entering numbers,
press # to switch to another entry method.

symbol mode

In a text entry screen, press # to switch the
text entry methods until the [ (symbol)
indicator displays.
1 Press keypad keys (one press per key) to
show possible symbol combinations at
the bottom of the display.
2 Press S left or right to highlight the
combination you want.
