the message center. A character counter
indicates how many more characters will fit in
the message.

text input method and setup
Multiple text entry methods make it easy for
you to enter names, numbers, and messages.
The method you select remains active until
you select another method.

Press # in any text entry screen to select
one of the following input modes:
input mode
Primary
Your Primary text entry mode can be set to
TAP English, iTap English, Multi Spanish or
iTap Spanish.
Numeric
Enter numbers only.
Symbol
Enter symbols only, for example ?, !, &, @.
Secondary
Your Secondary text entry mode can be set
to TAP English, iTap English, Multi Spanish
or iTap Spanish, or Disable if you do not
want a secondary text entry mode.
