Menu functions

You can control the functions and setup of Decoder-
Station 7 via the main menu . To use the menu:
• Push the control dial 3 "POWER/SELECT" or the button
37 "•" . The main menu will appear on the connected
screen and in the display panel 2 .
• Select the desired sub-menu with the control dial 3
"POWER/SELECT" or the button 27 "
the control dial 3 or the button 37 "•" .
• The sub-menu will open and you can select the next
sub-menu or change the values with the control dial 3
or button 27 "

• You accept the setting by briefly pushing the control
dial 3 or the button 37 "•" .
• You terminate the respective function with the button 4
"BACK" or 28 "RETURN" or abort it and return to the
previous menu .
If the menu appears in German, you can change the
on-screen menu language to English (the unit display 2
always displays English text):
1 . Select the item "System Setup" .
2 . Select the item "D/E" .
3 . Select the item "English" .
The onscreen menu will now switch to English .
4 . Push the "RETURN" button 28 until only the main menu
is visible .

"Tuner" menu

This menu is only available in radio mode (FM/AM) .
Station memory (Preset)
You can switch the station memory with the control dial 3
or the arrow buttons 27 "
Frequency
You can adjust the tuning frequency with the arrow but-
tons 27 "

• Manually: Every time the button is tipped, the fre-
quency is increased or decreased by one increment
(FM: 0 .05 MHz, AM: 9 kHz) .
• Automatically: Holding down the button for a pro-
longed period of time starts station scanning in the
desired direction until a station with sufficiently strong
transmitting power is found .
Station search (APS, Auto Tuning)
You can program station memory slots automatically .
Confirm to the question "Auto tuning OK?" by briefly
pushing the control dial 3 or the select button 37 "•" .
The device will automatically save the first 30 stations for
USW/FM or 10 stations for MW/AM . Already occupied
memory slots will be deleted in the process .
Erase memory
You can clear station memory slots this way:
Push the select button 37 "•" to erase or the "RETURN"
button 28 to abort .
