Setting up the phone for WAP services

Receiving settings in a smart message
You may receive service settings in a special short message, a so-called smart message,
from the network operator or service provider that offers the WAP service. See 'Receiving
smart messages', p. 73. For more information, contact your network operator or service
provider, or visit Club Nokia's Web site (www.club.nokia.com).
Keying in the settings manually
Follow any instructions given to you by your service provider.
1 Go to Settings→
Connection
access point. See 'Connection settings', p. 29.
2 Go to Services→ Options→
address of the WAP page defined for the current access point.

Bookmarks view

Glossary: A bookmark consists of an Internet address (mandatory), bookmark title,
WAP access point, and if the service requires, a user name and password.
Note: Your phone may have some pre-installed bookmarks for sites not affiliated
with Nokia. Nokia does not warrant or endorse these sites. If you choose to access
them, you should take the same precautions, for security or content, as you would
with any site.
In the Bookmarks view, you can see bookmarks pointing to different kinds of WAP pages.
Bookmarks are indicated by the following icons:
- The starting page defined for the WAP access point. If you use another WAP access
point for browsing, the starting page is changed accordingly.
