Wi th mach inC' in " s top" pos it ion, loosen finger
set screw shown in F ig. 52 ond move loop pick-up
finger into reel ho lder as fo r os possi ble without
causing o bind . Securely t ight en finger set screw,
SEWING REEL
Remove arm cylinder cover and button camp.
Re n•ove throat plate and engage machine i1 run
po sition.
Turn moc:h ine pulley over toward right until hook
po int moves approximately to position shown in
Fig.
53.
Remcve two thread guotd screws anc:J two hook
body screws, F ig. 53.
Sli p hook section out from beneath the hook
thread guard, mok ing certo in 1h at stripper finger
docs not change i ts position as shown in Fig. 54.

Replace throat p late os ins truc ted on page 26.
Replace button clomp and a rm cy l in der cover.
