when correctly adjusted,

Through access

in right side of upright arm,
loosen

longitudinal
rock shaft driving arm pinch
screw,

forward
or
backward
in
corrocr
relati
on to the needle. Then
re-
ti
ghten
the
pinch
screw.

Loosen

to
increase the
width of tack.
To
decrea
se
the width, slide
stud
to
the left.
Then t igh
ten the
stud
nut.
NOTE:
After this adjustment is modo,
it
moy
be
necessary to adjust the reed plate in relation to
the
needle
os
instructed
under
CENTERING
LONGITUDINAL FEED.
