Random play

1-disc random: All the items on a disc in random order.
All-disc random: All the items on all the discs in random order.

To deselect a group, select the group again.

Note
During random play, empty trays are skipped and the playback
control function on Video CDs is cancelled.
During random play, this unit can access up to 999 audio or picture
contents and 400 groups.

Note
If you select bonus groups, you will have to enter a password.

Disable HighMAT disc play (A page 33, "Others" tab) to use random and program play.
Quick replay feature may not work while playing some parts of a disc or at all with some discs.

To select an item using the cursor buttons
Press [ENTER] and [8 8 8 8 8 , 9 9 9 9 9 ] to select an item, then press
[ENTER] again to confirm the number.
All the items on the disc, title or group are selected when you
select "ALL".

Press [: DVD/CD] to play.

To add or change the program
Press [8, 9] to select an available item, then repeat step 3.
To clear the whole program
Select "Clear all" and press [ENTER].
To clear an item
Press [SHIFT]+[CANCEL], or select "Clear" and press [ENTER].
Press [ANGLE/PAGE] to skip 8 lines at a time.
Note
Clear the existing program before creating a new program.

Times are not displayed while programming.

Items the unit cannot find can be programmed but are cancelled
during play. This is also the case if you program the discs other
than Video CD and CD.
The program is cleared when you switch the unit to standby,
select another source, exit the program mode or move the disc
out of the play position.
