Check the satellite status Indicator in the
upper right corner of the Map screen for Signal
strength. When the icon bars are green, the
Magellan Maestro is computing position information.
Signal Reception
For best signal reception, leave the garage or parking
structure to get a clear view of the sky.
Residents of Alaska Hawaii Canada & Puerto Rico:
To use the Magellan Maestro in your area you will need to
select the region map for your area. Region selection can be
found by accessing the Main Menu and tapping User Options
and then Region. See the User Manual for more details.
Attach the cradle to
the Magellan
Maestro.
Install...
PI ug one end of the
cigarette lighter
adapter to the
bottom connector
and the other in a
cigarette lighter

Clean the area where the adjustable mount wi" be
installed with an alcohol pad. If you are uSing the
adheSive disc apply it firmly to a flat, smooth area or
the dash. (Allow to cure for 24 hours.)

the mount to the
windshield or the
adhesive disc.
