5-3-7 When the bypass solenoid valve does not operate
1) Inspection items
(1) Is the solenoid valve under the operating condition? ( When one of the B room
or C room is under the cooling operating mode)
(2) Is the power voltage normal ? (AC 198V - AC 264V)
(3) Is the connection of SV -B Y valve connector good? (CN 74)
(4) Is the coil resistance of solenoid valve both ends approx. 1.3 KΩ?
2) Inspection sequence
When one of indoor unit B room and C room is on
Put off the outdoor unit power and put it on again after 5 seconds.
Only when B room is on among three rooms of indoor unit,
is the solenoid valve operating?
Is the voltage shown across the solenoid valve connector
ends(CN 74) ? (AC198V - AC 242 V)
Is the pin no. 15 of IC 07 at low ( = DC 0.7V) ?
Is the pin no. 45 of IC 04 (MICOM) at high?
Is solenoid bypass valve under the operating condition?
*SV by valve operating
(1) When one room of the B/C rooms is at C O M P on → SV - B Y : O N
(2) When two rooms of the B/C rooms are at comp on → SV - B Y : OFF
(3) When the C O M P B is under the defrost operating, it shall be in according to (1) and (2).(When
the Heating operation)
(4) When B comp is under the heating operating, SV - B Y is always off .
