Your Status - Nokia 7610 User Manual

When a contact logs into the Smart server, their status changes from Offline
to Online, and a notification tone sounds. The notification tone will sound
even if the application is currently running in the background (See 2.5).

3.4 Your Status

Your status, as presented to other users, is displayed in the titles of all the
Main Screen's tabs, following the tab name.
To modify your status, switch to the My Status tab of the Main Screen by
moving the joystick to the right, or by pressing the Options button and
selecting My Status. This tab displays your current status:
In the My Status tab, press the joystick or the Change key. A list of the
optional statuses appears.
Use the joystick to highlight your preferred status, then:

Press the joystick or the OK key to switch to the highlighted status.

Press the Cancel key to go back without changing your current status.
One of the statuses in the list is Appear Offline; if you select this status, you will only appear as
offline to other users, however you will stay online, and keep receiving messages and notifications
from other users.
