This is done to prevent overheating or, worse, damages to the amplifier. The loudspeakers DVX PSW15, DVX PSW18 have a nominal input impedance of 8 ohms, and the loudspeaker DVX PSW218 has a nominal input impedance of 4 ohms and these must be taken into account when making the connections. -
