Always use a cable similar to the one mounted on the machine i.e. with earth connection and for outdoor use. If you are in doubt, please contact a qualified electrician or the nearest ALTO distributor. Cable connections should be kept dry and off the ground.
Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs and medicine should not operate the machine. Never touch plug and socket with wet hands. WARNING! This machine has been constructed for use with ALTO detergents. The use of other deter- gents or chemicals may cause problems as to the operation and the safety.

Sicherheitsvorschriften und Warnungen If the electric cable is damaged, it should be replaced by a ALTO trained service technician or a similarly trained person to avoid any hazardous situation. (NB! Type Y-connection: A special tool is required for the disassemblance of the machine).
The water supply system must supply min. 720 l/h (12 l/min.). If there is a risk of running sand in the inlet water (i.e. from your own well), a sand filter should be mounted. Please contact your ALTO distributor for further information. Mains power connection Only connect to an approved socket with earth connection.
Pull forward the spray lance or any other accessory to ensure correct mounting before starting the cleaner. Max. thrust of spray handle and lance - see section "1.2 Technical data". Detergents - dosing unit Only use ALTO detergents. Use of aggressive detergents may damage equipment and affect the environment.
To avoid incrustation of the piping of the boiler and thus ensure optimum operation, an anti-incrustant - "ALTO No Scale" should be added, which is available from your ALTO distributor. Fill the anti-incrustant through the socket (13) and it will automatically be added to the water in a balanced dosage. Any lack of "ALTO No Scale"...

Operating instructions 3.6 End of operation Danger of scalding! Never dismount the high pressure hose when the water temperature is above 50°C. Turn the control knob (16) to position "cold water" against the blue field and activate the spray handle until the temperature is below 50°C.
2. Start the machine, and let it run with open spray handle until all water has run out. If the store room is not frost-free, the machine should be protected with an anti-freeze solution. Contact your distributor for further information about the anti-freeze equipment of ALTO. Follow the instructions provided with the anti-freeze equipment.
4.3 Detergents The most efficient cleaning is obtained from detergents in conjunction with high pressure cleaning. For that purpose ALTO can offer you a series of products specially developed for high pressure cleaning, eg Cleaning of vehicles, machines, stalls etc.

However, it applies to the most exposed components that a minimum of maintenance ensures a prolonged and problem-free operation.
