Installation, maintenance and repair
work by unqualified persons can
cause considerable danger to users,
for which Miele is not responsible.
Miele cannot be held liable for dam‐
age or injury caused by improper in‐
stallation, maintenance or repair
work or by inadequate or faulty
grounding in the building's wiring
system (e.g. electric shock).
The cooktop may only be connected
to the oven by a qualified and com‐
petent electrician in accordance with
current local and national safety reg‐
ulations.
Make sure that all electrical compo‐
nents are shielded and cannot be
accessed by users after installation.

Electrical connection

Connection
The voltage, rated load and fuse rating
can be found on the oven data plate.
Please ensure that these match the
building's electrical supply.
Disconnecting devices
It must be possible to disconnect the
appliance from the power supply on all
poles using disconnecting devices.
When switched off, a contact distance
of at least 3 mm must be present. Dis‐
connecting devices include overcurrent
protection elements and protective cir‐
cuit breakers.
