Highbeam Assist is faulty.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop.

Highbeam Assist is deactivated and temporarily inoperative.
Possible causes are:
The camera's functionality is impaired due to heavy rain, snow or

fog.
The windshield is dirty in the camera's field of vision.

Stop the vehicle paying attention to road and traffic conditions.

Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away (

If the malfunction has been rectified, the

Possible causes/consequences and M Solutions
The automatic regeneration of the diesel particle filter is not sufficient
or has malfunctioned.
Drive at an engine speed of above 2000 rpm until the display mes-

sage disappears.
If the display message does not go out after approximately
20 minutes, have the malfunction rectified immediately at a quali-
fied specialist workshop.
The DEF supply has dropped below 1.5 US gal (5.5 l).
Add DEF supply (
page 129).

The display message only disappears when the vehicle is stationary,
at the latest after 20 seconds as soon as you switch on the ignition
or start the engine after refueling.
Three short warning tones also sound.
After the message appears for the first time, the remaining DEF supply
will last for approximately 1200 miles (1900 km). The engine can then
only be started another 16 times.
The number of remaining engine starts
message every time the engine is started.
