BOTH SMOKE AND ODOR WILL DISSIPATE AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES. THE HEATER SHOULD NOT PRODUCE THICK BLACK SMOKE. NOTE: The burner may be noisy when initially turned on.
