VEGETABLES
For better tasting and more attractive vegetables, follow these simple procedures:
1. No more than 2 tablespoons of water should be added to frozen vegetables, and no more than ¼ cup to fresh
vegetables.
2. These vegetables have been prepared so that they may be held on a steam table. Three (3) ounce single
servings may be reheated in seconds if necessary.
3. Seasonings should not be added before cooking.
4. Cover dish with lid or suitable plastic wrap to prevent dehydration on surface.
5. Stir immediately at end of cooking period.

Pre-baked bread and individual servings of rolls may be heated in any non-metallic serving containers. These can
also be wrapped in paper or cloth napkins and heated in a wicker basket or plastic container.
Day-old baked goods, such as rolls and doughnuts are highly recommended.
