COMPRESSION DONE RIGHT
If you've never used a compressor before, the effect can seem compli-
cated at first. But it only takes an hour or so of experimenting and you'll
discover a world of settings that add the subtle enhancement only a
compressor can provide.
Place your Comp-Nova in the beginning or in the end of the pedal chain
- it's all a matter of taste. For long sustain, the compressor should be
placed after the distrortion pedals.
CONTROLS
The COMP knob determines the compression amount. The more you
turn it up, the more you compress your sound.
The ATTACK knob controls the sensitivity - how much of the signal will
be compressed. Longer Attack times mean more natural signal before
the compressor starts to work.
The LEVEL knob sets the overall volume. At max. level the signal is
boosted approximately 3dB.
