    ELECTRICAL Electrical Connection The product has a precision-built electric motor. It should be connected to a power supply that is 120 volts, 60 Hz, AC only (normal household current).   • Page 14 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Installing the Tips 1. Unplug power cord (C). Insert hex wrench (H) into setscrew (E) and turn counterclockwise. 2. Choose the tip for the job. Use the pointed tip (G) on cement-based grout joints where grout width is 1/8 in. or less. Use the chisel tip (F) for varying widths of grout, such as those around kitchen sinks and soap...
  • Page 15 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Stroke (SPEED) Adjustment The stroke adjustment dial (B) on the side of the removal tool housing controls the stroke length. 1. To adjust stroke length, turn dial to desired speed. • Low speed (1) is for fine detail and the narrowest of grout widths.
