The antenna may be mounted along Possible Mounting the top of the front or rear window. For Locations best performance, don’t mount on the rear window of trucks or SUVs. Check to ensure your mounting location won’t interfere with windshield wiper operation. Keep the antenna away from defogger wires and metallic aftermarket window tint most factory tint is nonmetallic and will not interfere. If the antenna must be mounted on the defogger, center it between the defogger wires as much as possible. Avoid Defogger Clean the exterior window surface Wires with glass cleaner or an alcohol swab. Be sure the same location inside the window is clear of obstacles. Remove the protective paper on the base to expose the adhesive pad and fi rmly press the antenna into place on the outside of the window. Note: If Antenna installing on a home or offi ce window, Base ensure that it is not dualpane glass. Not recommended for RVs too much metal above the window will interfere with operation.
