DESCALING AND CLE ANING THE APPLIANCE
The BONECO H680 has to be cleaned and descaled at
regular intervals. An upcoming need for cleaning is indi-
cated on the display with the following cleaning symbol:
The evaporator mat lasts indefinitely. However, you can
obtain a new evaporator mat as a spare part via your
BONECO specialist dealer or the BONECO online store:

Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the socket
before cleaning it.

STEP 1: DESCALING

1. Fill the tank halfway with warm tap water.
2. Mix 2 packets of EZCal into the water tank and insert
the tank into the appliance.
3. Start cleaning mode by pressing the
the BONECO H680 keypad for 5 seconds. Change the
duration of cleaning as needed using the
buttons.
The appliance then descales itself automatically. After-
wards, the cleaning symbol on the display goes away;
then a flashing symbol indicates that the water in the ap-
pliance has to be replaced:
STEP 3: CHANGING THE CLEANING TIME
The default setting for the cleaning time is 4 hours. To
strengthen or shorten the cleaning, adjust the duration of
cleaning using the and
• Shorten the duration of cleaning if the BONECO H680
button on is only slightly dirty.
and • Increase the duration of cleaning if the evaporator mat
is heavily calcified with lime. The maximum duration of
cleaning is 12 hours.
The fan is switched off during cleaning.
After cleaning has finished, the cleaning symbol on the
display goes away automatically.
