Text Entry

Keyboards

Use onscreen keyboards for text entry.
In 10 Key Keyboard, multiple characters are assigned to each key. In QWERTY and
Japanese Syllabary Keyboards, a single character is assigned to each key.
To toggle between 10 Key, QWERTY, and Japanese Syllabary Keyboards, in a shown
keyboard, Tap Menu → 10 Key, QWERTY, or Japanese Syllabary.

10 Key Keyboard Layout

Toggle character modes (character sets)
Show cursor screen
 Move cursor; select text to copy, cut, or paste
Shorten range of text to convert by one character
 If no unconfirmed text, move cursor to left
Change keyboards
Change input methods and make keyboard settings
 If カナ英数 appears, convert to katakana or alphanumerics
Change upper/lower case during text entry; add ゛ or ゜
Exit keyboard
Show emoticons/symbols
Delete one character to left of cursor; Touch & Hold to delete characters in
continuation
