Using your Answering System

The message counter displays the number of messages stored in memory. If the display
flashes, then there are new messages waiting for you. The answering system is designed to
play your new messages first. After you play all your new messages, you can then play your
old messages.

Playing your messages

1) When the phone is in the standby mode, press
The system announces the number of new and old messages while the message counter
displays only the number of new messages. The time and day that each message was
received is announced after the message is played. The message counter will then display
the number of current stored messages.
2) When all new messages have been played, you hear a beep and the system announces
"End of message". The system returns to standby. After you have reviewed your new
messages, you can play your old messages by again pressing
to a new message, it then becomes an old message. The old messages will be played in
the order in which they were received.
Repeating a message
1) Press
to review your messages. The number of stored messages is announced.
2) To repeat the current message, press
