• Please turn off the switch of the dehumidifier and empty out the water in the tank
before moving the dehumidifier. Hold the handle when moving.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
• Ensure that the supply cable and plug are undamaged. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by a qualified person.
• Never operate the appliance if it has damaged or worn parts. The appliance is to be
repaired by a qualified person only.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the local mains volt-
age before you connect the appliance.
• Do not pull the power cord to disconnect with power source. Always grasp the plug to
pull out.
• Be sure to position the power cord out of the way to prevent it from being stepped on,
tripped over or damaged.
• To avoid damages to the power cord, do not pull out the cord when moving the unit.
• To prevent the water from freezing, do not use the dehumidifier and the drain pipe at
ambient temperature below 0°C.

OPERATION AND PERFORMANCE

Defrosting operation
The evaporator within the dehumidifier frosts during the dehumidifying operation at
room temperature of approx. 15°C or less.
a) Room temperature ≥ 20°C, continuous operation, and defrosting.
b) Room temperature 12-20°C. Defrosting after 40 mins dehumidifying, during 8 mins.
c) Room temperature 5-12°C. Defrosting after 25 mins dehumidifying, during 10 mins.
• Both the dehumidifying function and the air cleaning function stop during the defrost-
ing operation.
• Do not turn off the unit of pull out the plug during the defrosting operation.
This dehumidifier is not suitable for keeping the humidity very low (approx. 50% or less).
This dehumidifier is designed to remove uncomfortable humidity in daily life and to use
for auxiliary drying of washed clothes indoors.
Room temperature rises during the operation
This dehumidifier does not have cooling function. It produces heat during the opera-
tion and room temperature rises by 1°C to 4°C. The temperature gets even higher if it is
operated in a closet, or the like. Furthermore, room temperature rises because doors and
windows are closed and heat is produced from other appliances in the room and the sun
radiation.
