  • Page 5 BordBar CDF-11 Safety instructions The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic mate- rials or materials containing solvents. Do not open the refrigerant circuit under any circumstances! Connect the device with the 12/24 V lead supplied to a 12/24 V socket.

    The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper usage or incorrect operation . Intended use The cooler CDF-11 is suitable for cooling and freezing foodstuffs. The device has been designed for use with a 12/24 V on-board power sup- ply socket of a car (cigarette lighter) or caravan.

    BordBar CDF-11 Technical description Technical description The cooler can chill products, keep them cool as well as freeze them. A main- tenance-free, CFC-free refrigerant circuit with compressor provides the cool- ing. The cooler is suitable for mobile use. When used in vehicles the cooler can be secured with the seat belt.

    BordBar CDF-11 Operation Operation The device is equipped with an interior LED light which remains on whenever power is connected. The power consumption of this LED light is extremely low and insignificant compared to the overall power consumption of the de- vice.
  • Page 10 Operation BordBar CDF-11 Securing the cooler in the vehicle Open the lid of the cooler. Place the seat belt into the fixing position (fig. 3, page 2) of the cooler. Close the lid. Fasten the seat belt and tighten it.

    BordBar CDF-11 Operation Press the “ON/OFF” button (fig. 1, page 2) for three seconds. The “POWER” LED (fig. 2, page 2) lights up green. When the cooler reaches the preset temperature, the LED lights up orange. The display (fig. 5, page 2) switches on and shows the current cooling temperature.
  • Page 12 Operation BordBar CDF-11 Note When switched off by the battery monitor due to low voltage the dis- play (fig. 5, page 2) goes blank and the “POWER” LED (fig. 2, page 2) flashes orange. Caution – Danger of damage! When switched off by the battery monitor, the battery will no longer be fully charged.

    Utilisation BordBar CDF-11 Utilisation L'appareil est équipé d'un éclairage intérieur DEL qui reste allumé lorsque l'appareil est sous tension. La consommation de cet éclairage intérieur DEL en courant est extrêmement faible et négligeable comparée à la consomma- tion totale de l'appareil.
