Displaying subtitles
Many DVD video discs include subtitles in up to 32 different
languages. While you are playing a disc you can turn the
subtitles on or off, and select the subtitle language from those
provided on the DVD video disc.
To select a subtitle language
Press SUBTITLE during playback.
The on-screen display shows the current subtitle setting:
This gives the number of the subtitle option, the language code,
and whether the subtitles are on or off. For a full list of language
codes see Language codes, page 32.
Press SUBTITLE to switch between the alternative subtitle
languages.
To display subtitles
Press SUBTITLE ON/OFF.
The on-screen displays shows the current subtitle setting:
