Note 3: For performing the diagnosis the DVDM ASSY side B, the following jigs for service is required:
• Cable for service (GGD1425)
Diagnosis of PCB's

Top Panel, Side Panel L and R, Tray Panel

Remove the Top Panel by removing the twelve screws.

Remove the Side Panel L and R by removing the ten screws.

3 Press the  STANDBY/ON button to turn on the power.

Press the  OPEN/CLOSE button to open the Tray.

Remove the Tray Panel.

Set the Test Disc.

Press the  OPEN/CLOSE button to close the Tray.
(Test Disc is clamped.)

Press the  STANDBY/ON button to turn off the power.
9
Pull out the Power cord.

How to open the Tray when the power cannot be on
Insert a Screwdriver (small) into the Slit located at the bottom of
the unit, and slide the projection of the Drive Cam in the LOADER
ASSY in the direction of the arrow, as indicated in the photo. If the
Tray pops out a little, fully pull it out by hand.
