Power switch................................................ Turns ON/OFF the AC power source.

Interlock switch ............................................ Shuts off 24 V DC power line when the top cover is opened.

Cassette switch............................................ Detects open/close cassette.

Registration sensor ...................................... Detects the timing of primary paper feed.

Paper sensor................................................ Detects the presence of paper in the cassette.

MP paper sensor.......................................... Detects the presence of paper on the MP tray.

Exit sensor ................................................... Detects paper jam in the fuser or duplex conveying section.

Toner sensor ................................................ Detects the quantity of toner in a toner container.

11. Fuser thermal cutout .................................... Shuts off the power source to the fuser heater lamp when the heat roller
