Wear inspcgion:
Check the chain .....ear label when adjusting the
chain. If the red zone (5) on the label aligns
with the arrow mark (6) on the swingann after
the chain has been adjusted to the proper slack.
the chain is excessively worn and must be
replaced. The proper slack is:
15-25

(0.6-1.0

Damage to the bonom part of the frame may

caused by excessive drive chain slack of

4. Check rear axle alignment by making sure
the chain adjuster

the scale (4) graduations on both side of the
swingarm.

Rear brnke pedal free play is affected

repositioning the rear wheel to adjust drive
chain slack. Check rear brute pt'tlal (n.oc play
and adjust as 1Il..'Ccssary (page 20).
