1. INSTALL DUCTWORK WARNING When performing installation, servicing or cleaning the unit, it is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, use only metal ductwork. OOF CAP 6” OUND DUCT Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. A straight, short duct run will allow the hood to perform most efficiently.

7. INSTALL HOOD WARNING BE CAREFUL when installing the decorative flue and hood, they may have sharp edges. CAUTION DO NOT REMOVE the protective plastic film covering the decorative flue (upper and lower) and the hood yet. 1. Lay the back side of the hood flat on a table. 8. GREASE FILTERS To remove the grease filters, pull down on the metal latch tab and tilt each filter downward to remove. To install the grease filters, align rear filter tabs with slots in the hood. Pull down the metal latch tab, push each filter into position and release.
10.OPERATION (continued) 1. TIME/DELAY (2 Functions): Time Setting: This button is used to set time when lighting and blower are not in use. Time is displayed in 24 hour cycle. To set time, press the push button (1) for 3 seconds. The first two digits will flash. Use the blower push button (3) to increase and the lighting push button (2) to decrease.

In order to qualify for a warranty claim, the owner of a Venmar Jazz range hood must have the model and serial number along with a proof of the original purchase date. At the time of requesting service, describe the nature of any defect in the product or part.
