Note:
a) If the local language is the only language used in your working
environment, there is no need to change any settings for the encoding code
page and you can just go ahead and load the defaults.
For example: If the local language is English, and all files or folders use
English names, then it is unnecessary to change any settings here, just
follow the defaults.
b) If it is necessary to recognize a second, non-local language, it is
recommended that you select an encoding that recognizes the second
language.
For example: If the local language is English but some files or folders use
Japanese characters, please select "Japanese SJIS (Code Page 932)" in
the Encoding Codepage drop-down menu.
