    Basic Commands (Direct Access) Press and release The alarm arms, doors lock (if connected), and the siren chirps and parking lights flash once. The Arm LED and beeps play to confirm. If Valet mode* is On, the doors lock, the Arm LED and a fault tone plays.

    4 or 5 fault tones play to alert of the report. Trunk Release Press and hold The Trunk opens (if connected) when this button is pressed for 2 sec- onds. The Aux LED and tones play to confirm. Remote Start Press and release Activates (or if On, deactivates) the remote starter.

    Battery Information The 2-way remote control is powered by two coin cell batteries (CR- 2016). The 1-way remote control is powered by one coin cell battery (CR-2032), both can be purchased at most retailers. When the batter- ies begin to weaken, the operating range is reduced. Battery Replacement Unscrew the hardware on unit rear and remove from housing.
