Replacing the Fuser Oil Cartridge

When a message is displayed to replace the
Fuser Oil, follow the instructions provided on this
page in addition to those on the labels
surrounding the Fuser Oil area (Figure 34) and
affixed to the copier/printer.
WARNING: The fuser can be very hot. To avoid
personal injury, do not touch any component other
than those indicated in the following procedure.
CAUTION:Fuser oil can be slippery. If any fuser
oil is spilled on the floor, thoroughly clean the
area.
WARNING: Do not place the fuser oil cartridge on
the copier/printer. If any fuser oil is spilled on the
copier/printer, thoroughly clean it.
WARNING: Fuser oil may cause irritation to your
eyes. Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and
water after handling the fuser oil cartridge.

Open the Front Door of the copier/printer.

Place a few sheets of paper on the floor to catch
any fuser oil that may spill.

Rotate the green handle clockwise, to the down
position.
