As Crestron improves functions, adds new features, and
extends the capabilities of the GLPPA-REMOTE-USER units,
additional information may be made available as manual
updates. These updates are solely electronic and serve as
intermediary supplements prior to the release of a complete
technical documentation revision.
Check the Crestron Web site periodically for manual update
availability and its relevance. Updates are identified as an
"Addendum" in the Download column.
As of the date of manufacture, the GLPPA-REMOTE-USER
has been tested and found to comply with specifications for
CE marking and standards per EMC and Radiocommunica-
tions Compliance Labelling.
DESCRIPTION
The Crestron
®
GLPPA-REMOTE-USER is a
compact IR wireless remote designed
specifically for the user of a Crestron Green
Light
®
Power Pack (GLPP)—a room
controller that communicates with
photocells, occupancy sensors, and control
stations to automatically control lighting in
any room. Operating on two (2) AAA
batteries (included), the
GLPPA-REMOTE-USER provides buttons
for operating the GLPP.

REMOTE COMMANDS
Commands for the GLPPA-REMOTE-USER are listed in the following table.
COMMANDS
LOADS 1–3 ON/OFF
Toggles the load between off and 100%.
LOADS 1–3 RAISE
Raises the load level. This turns the load on if it is off.
LOADS 1–3 LOWER
Lowers the load level. The load stops at 1%. If the lower
command continues for another 2 seconds, the load turns off.
MASTER ON/OFF
If any load is on, this button turns all loads off. Otherwise all
loads turn on to 100%.
MASTER RAISE
All loads that are on, at any level, begin to raise. Loads that are
off stay off.
MASTER LOWER
All loads that are on, at any level, begin to lower to 1%. They do
not lower to off.
ON
Turns the loads on.
OFF
Turns the loads off.
SCENE 1–8
Toggles the loads according to the programmed settings for
scenes 1 through 8. "Scene 1" enables daylighting.
EDIT SCENES USING USER REMOTE
Use the GLPPA-REMOTE-USER to change the default scene settings for scenes 1
through 8.
