6) Attach the front cover mounting fixture (Package part No. 6)
with the fixing screws (Package part No. 3).
• In the case of the saddle stitch finisher (MX-FNX4)
Install it using three fixing screws (Package part No. 3) bun-
dled to punch unit.
• In the case of the finisher (MX-FNX3)
Remove the screw of the finisher, and reuse it. Install it using
the reuse screw, and three fixing screws (Package part No.
3) bundled to punch unit.

7) Open the front door of punch unit.
8) Engage the pawls of the rear side of front cover (Package part
No. 5), attach the front cover with the fixing screw (Package
part No. 1).

B. Connection of connector of the finisher and

punch unit

1) Remove the fixing screws, and remove the rear cover.
2) Connect two connectors of the finisher to the PWB of punch
unit, and fix the harness to the clamp.
* When installing the MX-CFX1, execute the installation procedure
of MX-CFX1. If not, execute the following procedures.
C. Install of the Connection fixture F/R
1) Install the Connection fixture F (Package part No. 7) to the
main unit with the fixing screws (Package part No. 4).
