5.4 Checking the gas flow rate (volumetric method)
• Take all other gas appliances which are connected by
the same gas meter out of operation
• Start the cylinder as shown and set the temperature
selector to „7" (when the appliance has been heated
up, tap hot water in order to reduce the storage water
temperature and to take the burner into operation)
• Read off flow in l/min at the gas meter for one minute
(measure time with timer of possible
• Compare the measured gas flow value with the requi-
red values in the tables
In the case of deviations of less than
± 7.5%, it is not necessary to take any measures.
• If the measured value exceeds the value by ± 7.5%,
check the throttle and the injector according to the
tables
If no irregularities are determined during this
check and if there is no fault in the gas supply
after consulting the competent gas supply com-
pany, the after-sales service is to be contact.

5.5 Check gas setting (burner pressure test method)
• Close the gas shut-off valve
• Unscrew the sealing screw at the burner pressure test
point (1)
• Connect the pressure gauge to the burner pressure
test point (1)
• Open the gas shut-off valve
• Measure the burner pressure
• Take the appliance into operation
In case of deviations of ± 15% of the values given in the
following table, there is no need for action. In case of
deviations exceeding ± 15%, check the throttle jet and
the burner nozzle based upon the following tables. In
case everything is o.k., and your gas supplier informs you
that there is not any trouble in the gas supply, contact
your after-sales service.
• Turn the control knob to the „off position" (•)
• Close gas shut-off valve
• Take off pressure gauge
• Seal burner bressure test point (1) with sealing screw
