TALK AROUND

The transcever has a conventonal operaton capablty also
for when the transcever s n out-of servce area.
The tone squelch operaton wth CTCSS s avalable for the
conventonal operaton, as well as the ANI (Automatc Num-
berng Identicaton) transmsson at PTT ON and/or OFF.
NOTE: The pressel sgnal of trunkng s used for the ANI
operaton.
➥ By pushng [Montor], both the tone and nose squelch s
released to montor the selected channel condtons.
➥ Total of 32 conventonal channels are avalable and are se-
lectable wth [Up]/[Down].
The conventonal channels must be programmed n ad-
vance.
• Switching with the automatic talk around
The conventonal mode wll be selected automatcally when
the trunkng control channel s fall down or the transcever
move nto the out-of servce area.
Even the conventonal mode s selected, the transcever
automatcally searchng for a usable control channel by re-
turnng nto trunkng mode n nterval. Then the transcever s
swtched to trunkng mode when a usable control channel s
found, or return to conventonal mode when no usable control
channel s found.
The automatc talk around s dsabled by settng "OFF" n au-
tomatc talk around tmer wth the programmng.

• Switching with [Mode], or [P1] and [Up] operation at
power ON.
Push [Mode] to toggle the operaton mode between trunkng
and conventonal mode.
Or, whle pushng and holdng both [P1] and [Up], turn the
transcever power ON to toggle the operaton mode between
trunkng and conventonal mode.
Once the operaton mode s selected wth ether opera-
ton, the operaton mode won't be changed untl [Mode] s
pushed.
Even the transcever s turned OFF, the transcever remans
the operaton mode.
NOTE: [Mode] must be assgned n key assgnment for
both trunkng and conventonal f manual operaton mode
selecton s requred.
