2.3 Routine maintenance every 6 months

It is suggested to carry out the following operations every six months:

Fan Unit Protection cleaning,
This is needed when it is placed in environments defined in ETS 300 019-1-3 class 3.2 (refer to
para. 2.3.1 on page 24).

2.3.1 Fan Unit Protection cleaning procedure

The period of routine cleaning is only indicative; according to the environmental con-
ditions, it could be necessary to reduce this period.

SAFETY RULES
DURING THE EXTRACTION AND THE INSERTION OF THE FAN UNIT PROTEC-
TION, PAY ATTENTION TO THE FAN UNIT INSERTED ABOVE IN THE SUB-
RACK. ENSURE THAT IT IS WORKING AND THAT ITS FANS ARE ROTATING.
SAFETY RULES
Possibility of personal injury.
Personal injury can be caused by rotating fans.
