Setting the Entry Code Length

If you decide to change the entry code length after the initial programming, you will need to delete all of the
entry codes before changing the code length. Once you change the entry code length, the old codes will no
longer be valid and cannot be

Setting the Relay Activation Time

This tells the system how long to activate the relay that unlocks/opens your door or gate.
Factory Setting: 10 seconds

Example: 1 + 15 + #
Sets the main relay's activation time to "15" seconds.
Note: If this relay activates a gate operator with a momentary contact closure, set the relay activation
time for a short period (for example, 2 seconds). A longer activation time might cause the gate to
repeatedly open and close until the activation period has expired.

Setting the Maximum Number of Keypad Errors (Strikes and Out)

This feature prohibits unauthorized persons from guessing an entry code. Anyone entering an entry code will
have a set number of times to correctly enter his/her code. Each time the code is entered erroneously, it is a
"strike". After x number of "strikes", the system will disallow keypad entries at the unit for 3 minutes.
Factory Setting: 5
