    Programming Overview — — — Programming Overview Important: The Mini-Key comes preprogrammed with factory settings. When the system is first installed, you do not need to program each feature. Review the system’s factory settings before programming (see page 8). You may want different settings than those already defined. Programming Basics All programming occurs with the system's main keypad including sites that utilize the remote (second) keypad.

Once you are in programming mode, the system will remain in this mode until you tell it to exit to the “run” mode, or until 60 seconds pass without an entry on the keypad.
