4-7. POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP

Choose〝POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP〞option on the main menu, a
display will be shown on screen as below :
ACPI Function
►Power Management
PM Control by APM
Video Off Option
Video Off Method
MODEM Use IRQ
Soft-Off by PWRBTN
State After Power Failure
► Wake Up Events

The "Power Management Setup" allows the user to configure the system to
the most effectively save energy while operating in a manner consistent with
your own style of computer use.
ACPI FUNCTION:
Users are allowed to enable or disable the Advanced Configuration and
Power Management (ACPI).
POWER MANAGEMENT:
This item allows you to select the Power Management mode.
PM CONTROL BY APM:
When enabled, an Advanced Power Management device will be activated to
enhance the Max. Power Saving mode and stop the CPU internal clock. If
Advance Power Management (APM) is installed on your system, selecting
Yes gives better power savings. If the Max. Power Saving is not enabled, this
will be preset to No.
