Suitable cookware
Use cookware made from stainless steel or heat-

Cookware made of enamelled steel or with aluminium or
copper bottoms may leave discolorations on the glass
ceramic surface and are difficult to remove or may leave
permanent stains.
To obtain best results:
Cookware with thick and flat bases should be chosen
for the benefit of uniform heat distribution. Avoid
using cookware with rough or deformed bases.
Always use pans with a diameter large enough to
cover the cooking zone fully to achieve even cooking
and more efficient heat distribution.
Note: Avoid leaving metal cooking accessories such as
knives and forks, or metal objects on the hob. They may
get hot if left close to any heating element in use and may
cause accidental burns.

Useful tips
Residual heat can be used for melting and
keeping food warm.
Take care to keep the control panel clean and
never place hot pans on the sensors. The
electronic unit beneath it could get damaged.
Lift cookware into positions on the hob. Sliding
them can cause scuffs and scratches on the hob
surface.
Environmental tips
Switch off the cooking zones before the end of
cooking time to take advantage of residual heat.
Place lids on the cookware whenever possible to
minimize heat loss.
Select a smaller pan size if cooking small food
quantities. A smaller pan size uses less energy
than a larger pan with small food quantities.
Pan base size and cooking zone should be of
same size for better heat efficiency.
