Press each of the targets in turn. After the third, the screen should be
calibrated. The calibration screen will disappear, returning you to the
Screen Setup Menu. You may want to use a stylus for more accurate
calibration (or even the plunger of a ballpoint pen) – if you do, take ex-
tra care not to scratch the touch screen.

Trip Calculator

The Trip Calculator is a handy tool for keeping track of detailed infor-
mation concerning your route. You can use it to find the distance of
your daily commute, or to calculate your average speed on a cross-
country road trip.
To access the Trip Calculator, from the Main Menu choose

. A screen like the one in the following image appears.

Trip Active

Use the Trip Active checkbox to turn on and off trip calculation. If you
want to take a detour without recording that in your trip calculation,
you can simply use the Trip Active command to disable calculation.
Tap the checkbox to the left of the label
to check it (turn on)

and uncheck it (turn off).

Reset Trip

The Reset Trip command is used to reset all of the calculated values to
zero and begin recording new information.
Whenever you're starting a new trip, remember to open up the Trip
Calculator Menu and choose

Threshold

You can use Threshold to make sure the information recorded by iWAY
in the Trip Calculator only applies to your trip's route – not the lost
