  • Page 2: Map Orientation

    Since the manual was written for the iWAY 500C, several small changes to its operation have occurred. These changes do appear in your unit, and include: 3D Map Orientation • In addition to the North Up and Track Up map orientations de- scribed in the manual, you can also view the moving map in 3D mode.

  • Page 3: Find Address

    The 3D display renders the path ahead from a position above and be- hind your current position, so that the display on the map more closely matches what you'll actually see through your windshield. Find Address The Find Address command works exactly as described in your manual (pages 50-51), but an additional field has been added to help narrow your search.
  • Page 4 To use the Name Filter, press anywhere inside the field, and ILTER the virtual keyboard will appear. Type all or part of the name you are looking for, and press . The iWAY will return to the previous list, but it will only show those locations whose names contain the text you entered in the Name Filter field.

  • Page 5: Find A Street

    The iWAY will return to the Find Streets menu, with the entered name showing in the First Street field. (In this example, it's 80th Street.) You can use the Find Intersection command to find a single street by entering a name and choosing Find First Street. Find a Street If you just want to find your way to a single street, choose IRST...
  • Page 6 Find Streets menu shown left, with the list of found intersections right. Using the Music Browser The Music Browser is described in your manual under the heading Play Lists on pages 32-33. The Music Browser still functions in the same way, but files and folders now appear with larger icons (instead of the single-line textual names) for easier selection using the touch-screen.
