This is the time when you transmit Letter documents with approx. 700 characters in normal
mode (8 dots/mm × 3.85 lines/mm) via Super G3 (based on ITU-TV.34, 33,600 bps). This is the
electronic transmission speed only for image information, excluding the transmission control
time. Note that the actual transmission speed depends on document contents, the other party's
machine model, and line status. It will be between 6 and 7 seconds for the communication
with G3 machines (when you transmit the same document in 14,400 bps).
