Listening To An Ipod - Teac CR-H260iDAB Owner's Manual

Before starting iPod playback, read "Using an iPhone/iPad/
iPod" on page 12.
The following explanations refer to an iPod, but they also
apply to use with an iPhone or iPad.

Press the iPod/USB button on the remote
control unit.
If no iPod is connected to this unit's USB port, "Not
Connected" will appear on the display.
If an iPod has already been connected, playback will
start.

Connect the iPod to the USB port.
"Reading" will appear on the display followed briefly
by "Direct Mode". After this message disappears, "iPod"
appears.
The iPod automatically turns on and starts playback
from its music list.
p Use the USB cable provided with the iPod to con-
nect it to this unit's USB port.

Pausing playback
During playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (G/J) to
pause playback. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button(G/J) again.
Searching for the desired track/file
When playing back or paused, press the Skip button
(.//) repeatedly until the desired song is found.
p If the . button is pressed during playback, the song
being played will be played from the beginning.
p The iPod's battery will be recharged when it is con-
nected and this unit is turned on. Charging will
stop once the iPod is fully charged. It will not be
charged when this unit is in standby mode.
p In iPod mode, the STOP button (8) does not
function.
p When in iPod mode, no sound is output from this
unit's headphones jack.
p After connecting the iPod to this unit, if you connect
headphones to the iPod, no sound will be output
from this unit.
